New Looks and More Powerful Engines Are Just the Beginning for the 2018 Ford F-150

Military-grade aluminum alloy and an innovative approach to tech has made this generation of the Ford F-150 one of the most sophisticated and mighty half-ton pickups on the market. But its stand-out status will only grow in 2018 thanks to a number of upgrades that makes it more intelligent, and more powerful.

Until the turbodiesel V6 debuts next spring, the 2018 F-150 will retain its class-leading twin-turbo V6 with 395 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, which can tow a best-in-class 12,200 lbs. That engine, as fate would have it, is the sole mill to carry over unchanged. Both the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 and 5.0-liter V8 get power bumps, and the base engine is an all-new 3.3-liter V6 with more power than this year’s model. There are also some stellar new looks, thanks to seven new grille designs (detailed above), and a B&O Play sound system and an expanded suite of driver assistance features on the options sheet.

Would you believe us if we told you that was only the beginning? To learn everything there is to know about the upcoming 2018 F-150, drop our sales team a line at our Ford dealership in Fort Wayne, IN. We can answer any question you may have.
